Hanky Panky means something is not right or is downright fishy. Consider these two events ..
1) Drunk cigar smoking ex-minister who allegely molested bar hostess
1. Day 1 :Bar Hostess allegedly groped and molested by drunken ex-minister. Hostess with boyfriend lodges police report.
2. Day 2 : News splashed all over papers, of course identities remained secret, but the ex-minister clues were obvious. The said person was overseas .. how convenient ....
3. Day 3 : Hostess wants to tarik balik report .. claiming that she was moody at the time and may have misunderstood the incident. I see ... so conveniently, a resolution is in order.
4. Day 4 : Ex-minister in question, just back overseas, goes to the police to make a statement. I do not know of how a drunk man can remember details but maybe the cops have a better way.
2) The Balkis Story
1. Day 1 - After Selangor falls to PR ( Pakatan Rakyat ), MB's wife convenes EGM to dissolve Balkis and transfers the funds ( about 1 million ) to Bakti. According to ex-MB, it was done legally and they were concerned what would happen to the Balkis programs under PR.
2. Day 2 - Surprise2 ... the Sun blew it the story in its front pages. And from the explanations given by ex - MB, it was done out of the concern for the poor students under Balkis scholarship. And not surprisingly, a new body Balkis BN is being formed to receive the money from Bakti.
3. Day 3 - Selangor MB Khalid writes to ROS questioning rightly the legality of the whole move, which only took a few days to be concluded.
Do you agree with me that the stories above have some hanky panky going on ? Some peeps really know how to shoot themselves in the foot and hope people don't notice.

Branding of Ketuanan Melayu
I find the arguments surrounding these 'Ketuanan Melayu' very interesting, only for the perspective where these arguments come from. In a way, these perspectives echo the anchor where the respective sides are at.
In the past, UMNO has always prided itself as the ones who uphold ' Ketuanan Melayu', but recent events have shown as a few Malays have seen the credo to be transformed to 'Ketuanan UMNO', or as it is called ' Umnoputras'. Now, PKR and PAS is laying claim or at the very least, throwing their hat into the ring, on ' Ketuanan Melayu'.
I believe the Ketuanan Melayu branding should be changed. Hell, the whole idea of Ketuanan Melayu needs a major rethink.
Here are two suggestions
1. There is no Melayu UMNO, PKR, PAS, DAP.
If you are a Malay, you are a Malay. And a Malay should help a Malay, no matter what the political allegiance is, in the matters that concern the Malays in general.
This idea should be the foundation of Ketuanan Melayu.
2. Malay leaders must be open, listen and accept criticisms from the lower ranks and able to intelligently answer them.
The keyword here is intelligent. A majority of Malays are now intelligent and are able to think
for themselves. For the Malay leaders, they need to intelligently articulate their positions to the Malay people. The era of ' Angguk - angguk, Geleng - geleng ' is over.
Now, given the points above, are the Malays willing to change ? Personally, in order for the Malays to move forward, the 2 points above are the immediate and urgent ones for all Malays to consider.

Pot Calling Kettle Black
Recent statements by Tun M for the past few weeks irks me a bit. It is not so much is the truth of his words, but by the person himself. He himself has a history of 'do as I say, not as I do'. Truthfully, he is lucky that Pak Lah is an indecisive bugger. If he had half of Tun M's semangat ( during his PM years ).. I doubt that Tun M would be would still be free.
Luckily, I know and have read people with similar sentiments. The rot began from him and now the truth is filtering out, ironically, from the same people who used to kiss his ass and now defend Pak Lah .. ( Tyson, Shaberry ).
A good reading that shed light on what I suspect on Tun M came from this book " Unmaking Of Malaysia'. Interesting take on our PMs especially Tun Razak n Tun M. At times, his observations on Tun M were spot on.
